name displays this association is focused on supporting
the young businessmen trying to establish a business,
run a business, or create links with other businesses,
also the association is committed to taking their
businesses to another level. Due to the recent economic
crisis there has been a demand of aid for businessmen
from businessmen associations who need to resolve the
problems brought up through the economy crisis. At the
same time even though they are in different
organizations they should come together from time to
time to deal with these kind of situations. |

Business trip to Thailand and
Myanmar by
MIBA
MIBA
has organized business trip to Thailand and
Myanmar. A group of 7
MIBA
members attended to
the trip to discuss trade and investment
opportunities with local businessmen. At the
bilateral business meetings were held in sectors
such as construction, textile, fishery,
consulting and food. As a result of these
meeting more than a million dollar worth fishery
business deal between Australia and Myanmar has
been achieved. Also a foreign direct investment
proposal on textile industry at Myanmar has also
arranged. Viability of importing automotive
parts from Thailand to Australia has also
researched and reached quite promising results.
At the end of the trip all participants was
agree on both the productivity of the trip and
the smoothness of the organization made by
MIBA.

MIBA Trade Seminar
Melbourne Young Business Association organized a
seminar titled, "Legal Procedures Regarding
Import and Export." The Seminar was held on 7
April 2011 at the head office of
MIBA. The
seminar attracted prominent businessmen from all
parts of Melbourne who showed great interest
towards the information provided by the
speakers. The event commenced by an opening
speech delivered by Musa Ilhan,
MIBA
president.
This was the second seminar held by Melbourne
Young Businessmen Association this year. Mr
Ilhan said that the seminars aim to provide
vital information to Melbourne businessmen who
wish to improve their businesses or invest in
new business ventures. The keynote speech was
delivered by Aslan Buyukyazici, Manager of DNS
Air Cargo who presented his professional views
on importing and exporting procedures in
Australia.

MIBA Accounting Seminar
Twenty businessmen showed great enthusiasm
towards the Accounting Seminar presented by
Fahri Kamil on May 5 2011 at the
MIBA
head
office. Mr Kamil talked about the
responsibilities of bookkeeping and the
necessary documents that needed to be archived
for tax purposes. He mentioned that paying taxes
made investments easier as it simplified the
process of taking loans from the banks and
utilizing the money more efficiently. Kamil also
added that people who keep their money under
their pillows have difficult time in explaining
their expenditures to the tax office. Towards
the end of the seminar, participants asked
questions which were related to their own
businesses. The second part of the accounting
seminar will be held at 7 pm, on 2 June 2011 at
the
MIBA
office. Those interested in company
